This is a 1925 hardcover of The Eternal Lover by Edgar Rice Burroughs.
No dust jacket. The cover has some wear, mainly on corners and top/bottom edge of spine. First page (blank) has inscription from “Max [can’t make out last name] from Roy, Xmas ’27”. Owner of book made notes on this page, also, listing the dates he re-read the book and a list of page numbers (likely where he stopped reading, as it matches the number of times he re-read the book). Some pages have a penciled arrow pointing to a passage. Pages are yellowed from age, but not overly so. The very last blank page and inside back cover have some chipping and show the binding. No other apparent rips or tears. Overall, the book is still in good structural condition. See photos for details.
