Ft. Jackson South Carolina US Army Vintage Panorama Photo of Integrated Troops. On July 26, 1948, President Harry S. Truman signed this executive order establishing the President’s Committee on Equality of Treatment and Opportunity in the Armed Services, committing the government to integrating the segregated military. Photo shows 3rd Army, C Company 8th Infantry Battalion – It was a training HQ after the Korean War until 1974. FORSCOM took it over then.
Most likely photo is from mid Sixties.

Frame measures 20″ long x 10.5″ tall

Excellent vintage condition. Photo has minimal fading. Was professionally framed, the left top corner of wood frame has started to separate. Frame has some scuffing from age and use. Print 2 very small, faint brown spots.  See photos for details.
